Role Overview -
We are looking for an HR Manager who can build a high-trust, high-performance people function at LegitQuest. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can balance strategic thinking with strong execution across talent acquisition, employee experience, performance management, compliance, culture, and people operations.
This is not just an execution role. We need someone who can help shape how the company hires, grows, engages, and retains talent as the business scales. You will work closely with leadership and functional heads to create an environment where ambitious teams can do their best work.
Key Responsibilities -
- Own end-to-end recruitment across business, product, technology, customer success, sales, marketing, and research functions.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, role scoping, job descriptions, hiring priorities, and organization design.
- Build strong hiring processes across sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate assessment, offer rollout, and onboarding closure.
- Design and run a seamless onboarding and induction experience that helps new hires ramp up quickly and integrate into the culture.
- Drive performance management frameworks, goal setting, KRAs/OKRs, review cycles, feedback practices, and development planning.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to managers on performance conversations, employee concerns, retention, coaching, and team effectiveness.
- Own core HR operations including employee documentation, policy implementation, leave and attendance processes, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and offboarding.
- Ensure HR compliance across statutory requirements, records, audits, contracts, and internal processes.
- Lead employee engagement, learning initiatives, culture-building programs, recognition efforts, and internal communication.
- Build HR dashboards and track people metrics including hiring velocity, attrition, engagement, productivity, and retention trends.
- Strengthen employer branding through referrals, social hiring, campus outreach, and a strong candidate experience.
- Recommend and implement scalable HR systems, SOPs, and process improvements that support long-term growth.
- Manage Cost Side MIS of Legitquest, and be able to co-ordinate with the Finance Team.
- Managing the employee’s compensation and other consultant’s remuneration.
Job Specifications
- 2–5 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to both talent acquisition and HR operations.
- Proven experience in a startup, SaaS, technology, or other fast-scaling business environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work closely with senior leadership
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable building processes from scratch and thriving in a fast-moving environment.
