HR Manager – Preferably IB Background (Education Sector) Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager preferably with an International Baccalaureate (IB) school background. Candidates from the broader education sector may also apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of teaching and non-teaching staff
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and HR policies
- Support staff training, professional development, and retention strategies
- Maintain HR records, contracts, attendance, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with school leadership regarding staffing needs and organizational planning
- Ensure smooth implementation of HR processes and workplace policies
- Handle conflict resolution and employee grievance management
- Support payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Promote a positive and collaborative work culture
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in IB schools preferred
- Candidates from schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes, or ed-tech organizations may also apply
- Strong understanding of HR practices in educational institutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred
- Prior HR experience in education sector preferred
