We are a leading B2B manufacturing firm operating mainly in the packaging industry, with a significant presence in both domestic and international markets. With our manufacturing plant based in Khopoli, Maharashtra, India, we specialize in producing high-quality Silicone coated Release paper and films for a diverse range of industries. Our product – “Release liner” is the backing of a self-adhesive product which is peeled off before the adhesive coated product is used. With 80% of our products being exported, we play a crucial role in catering to the global demand in products ranging from labels, tapes, graphic arts, building & construction, composites, bandages, sanitary napkins, etc. Our team of 150 dedicated employees is committed to delivering excellence, innovation, and sustainability in all aspects of our business.
Location: Hybrid. Khopoli and Mumbai office located in Chembur.
Position Overview: As the Senior Manager of HR, you will play a critical role in developing and executing human resources strategies that align with our business goals and foster a positive and productive work environment. Your responsibilities will span across various HR domains, from recruitment and talent management to employee relations and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning for plant activities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that promote a harmonious work culture and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Develop creative recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the industry, both locally and internationally.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other external partners.
Performance Management:
- Design and implement performance appraisal systems to measure individual and team performance.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters, including goal-setting and career development.
- Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and implement corrective actions.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training and development needs across the organization.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support the growth of leadership capabilities through targeted leadership development initiatives.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and resolving issues effectively.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and stay informed about industry best practices.
Organizational Development:
- Collaborate with leadership to drive initiatives related to organizational change and development.
- Lead efforts to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that values different perspectives and backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs.
- Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive in the industry.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices in India.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Experience in a manufacturing or B2B environment is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
