Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Human Resources Manager who can manage end-to-end hiring for roles across investment advisory and fintech functions. The role requires strong sourcing skills, an understanding of financial services hiring, and the ability to close candidates in a competitive market.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing recruitment and onboarding, implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves maintaining employee satisfaction, overseeing performance reviews, coordinating training and development programs, and ensuring alignment with the organisation’s culture and values.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Source candidates through various channels such as job portals, social media, referrals, etc.
- Conduct initial screening calls with potential candidates to assess their suitability for open positions.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand their requirements and provide them with a shortlist set of qualified candidates.
- Ensure timely communication with both clients (hiring managers) and applicants throughout the recruitment process.
- Build talent pipelines for recurring and critical roles
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in HR management practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement
- 2-3 years of experience in recruitment (preferably in fintech or investment advisory)
- Strong understanding of financial roles and basic finance concepts
- Hands-on experience with sourcing tools like LinkedIn, Naukri, and Indeed.
- Coordination with the Placement Coordinator for Campus Placements and Placement consultancies
- Experience with organisational policy-making and regulatory compliance
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage performance reviews, training programs, and professional development initiatives
- 5+ years of professional experience in human resources, preferably in a managerial role
- Experience in the finance or investment industry is a plus, but not mandatory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
