JOB DESCRIPTION: HR Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, payroll coordination, and organizational development. The role requires a hands-on professional who can support business growth while building a strong, compliant, and people-focused work culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, engineering, sales, and corporate roles.
• Develop job descriptions, hiring plans, and manpower budgeting.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies.
• Drive onboarding and induction processes.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
• Manage employee records, attendance, leave, and HRMIS systems.
• Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
• Oversee payroll inputs and coordinate with finance/payroll vendors.
• Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
3. Performance Management & Appraisals
• Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems (KPIs/KRAs).
• Support managers in goal setting, reviews, and feedback processes.
• Drive reward, recognition, and retention initiatives.
4. Compliance & Statutory Management
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements:
PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishments, Factory Act, CLRA, etc.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and statutory filings.
• Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
5. Employee Engagement & Culture
• Plan employee engagement activities, training programs, and skill development.
• Promote a positive, ethical, and performance-driven work culture.
• Handle employee communication, town halls, and internal announcements.
6. Training & Development
• Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external training programs.
• Support leadership development and succession planning.
7. HR Strategy & Management Reporting
• Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership.
• Prepare HR MIS reports on headcount, attrition, recruitment, and performance.
• Recommend HR process improvements and digitalization.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in engineering/manufacturing companies.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Experience handling recruitment, payroll coordination, and HR operations.
• Proficiency in HRMS, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Salary Range
₹4 LPA – ₹6 LPA (depending on experience and industry exposure)
