Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations for manufacturing and office staff. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR policies, manage payroll inputs and benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards. Daily activities include coordinating training and development programs, handling grievance resolution, maintaining HR documentation and HRIS records, and collaborating with management to support workforce planning and engagement initiatives. The role also involves fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting health, safety, and compliance initiatives within the plant environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes for manufacturing and corporate roles.
- Experience in performance management, employee engagement, and grievance handling.
- Knowledge of HR operations, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to design and deliver training and development programs tailored to industrial and office staff.
- Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS), MS Office, and data reporting for HR metrics.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and levels.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Executive in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
