OB DESCRIPTION – HR MANAGER

🔹 Job Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for end-to-end human resource management across multiple ventures, ensuring smooth functioning of recruitment, HR operations, payroll coordination, performance management, and compliance. The role requires strong operational control, coordination, and decision-making ability in a fast-paced edtech environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Oversee and manage end-to-end recruitment activities across all departments
- Maintain and track recruitment pipeline and hiring status
- Coordinate and conduct interviews and candidate evaluations
- Ensure background verification and offer roll-out
- Complete employee documentation (LOA, JD and other files)
- Manage sourcing through Indeed, LinkedIn, Facebook, references, and consultants
2. HRMS & Employee Data Management
- Manage employee data through GreatLeaps HRMS (My Profile)
- Ensure timely onboarding entries and system updates
- Provide HRMS/mobile app access to employees
- Oversee transition to CC HRMS (internal system)
- Maintain accurate and updated employee master database
3. Attendance & Payroll Coordination
- Monitor and validate employee attendance and corrections
- Ensure attendance closure every month
- Coordinate with Accounts for salary processing
- Verify payroll inputs:
- Attendance & leave data
- Faculty output reports
- Incentive data
- Monitor faculty output data accuracy from multiple sources
4. Performance Management
- Implement structured employee evaluation cycles:
- 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, and annual review
- Coordinate with TDO for training-phase evaluations
- Conduct probation and appraisal reviews
- Recommend salary revisions and confirmations
- Track and manage underperforming employees
5. Employee Relations & Discipline
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution
- Ensure discipline and adherence to company policies
- Issue and manage:
- Warning letters
- Show cause notices
- Exit and disciplinary processes
6. Training & Development Coordination
- Conduct HR orientation for new joinees
- Coordinate with Training & Development Officer (TDO)
- Ensure structured training plans for all new employees
- Monitor training progress and deployment readiness
7. Administrative & Compliance Management
- Oversee office administration and HR operations
- Ensure compliance with:
- ESI, PF, Professional Tax
- Applicable labor laws and statutory requirements
- Maintain records to ensure zero legal liabilities
8. Reporting & HR Operations
- Prepare and manage:
- Weekly HR reports
- Monthly review reports (MOMs)
- Drive HR process standardization
- Monitor recruitment, payroll, and performance metrics
- Implement employee engagement and recognition initiatives

🔹 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- BBA/ MBA / MHRM / MSW preferred
🔹 Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist role
- Experience in EdTech / Training / Multi-venture environment preferred
