Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager located in Chandigarh. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring staff training and development, managing employee benefits, and building a positive workplace culture. The role will also involve handling employee grievances and facilitating communication between management and staff to support workforce engagement and productivity.
Qualifications
- HR Management and knowledge of labour laws and compliance requirements
- Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, and Onboarding experience
- Performance Management and Employee Engagement Skills
- Training and Development expertise
- Conflict Resolution and Employee Relations abilities
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in HR software and tools
- Experience in the hospitality or food service industry is a plus
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, especially for blue-collar and mid level manager posts
- Develop job descriptions (JDs) and KRAs across departments
- Build and implement HR policies, processes, and systems
- Create and ensure execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Design organizational structure & departmental hierarchies
- Drive employee engagement and maintain a positive workplace culture
- Monitor employee satisfaction and address grievances effectively
- Support performance management systems
- Develop training programs for the workforce (including hygiene & safety)
- Create and implement a comprehensive HR Handbook
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements
