Job Overview
California Software Company Limited (Calsoft) is seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Manager to take ownership of the complete employee lifecycle โ from recruitment to exit management.
The ideal candidate should have strong HR operational experience, excellent people management skills, and basic accounting knowledge to support administrative and finance coordination activities.
This role is critical in building a strong organizational culture, ensuring HR compliance, and supporting smooth day-to-day employee operations.
Key Responsibilities
๐น Hiring & Recruitment
Collaborate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring plans
Create and publish job descriptions across job portals, LinkedIn, and referral networks
Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and coordinate offer rollouts
Manage onboarding documentation and employee induction processes
Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs
๐น End-to-End Employee Management
Manage the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, performance management, and exit formalities
Maintain accurate employee records and HRMS updates
Monitor attendance, leave records, and HR compliance processes
Address employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues professionally
Coordinate employee confirmation, appraisals, and policy communication
๐น Policy Implementation & Compliance
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies aligned with company standards and labor laws
Ensure statutory and legal compliance related to employment practices
Support audit documentation and reporting requirements
Maintain proper employee documentation and HR records
๐น Employee Engagement & Retention
Plan employee engagement activities, team-building initiatives, and internal HR programs
Conduct feedback sessions and performance review coordination
Handle exit interviews and support employee retention strategies
Foster a positive and collaborative work culture
๐น Basic Accounting & Administrative Support
Assist with payroll inputs, reimbursements, and employee expense tracking
Coordinate with the finance team for HR-related accounting activities
Support basic administrative and operational tasks when required
Who Weโre Looking For
3โ6 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in IT, SaaS, startups, or mid-sized organizations
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices
Experience with HRMS software, MS Excel, and HR documentation
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
High emotional intelligence and employee management capabilities
Basic knowledge of accounting or finance processes is an added advantage
