Role Description The Human Resources Manager will lead and manage the full spectrum of HR activities for the on-site team in Khopoli, Maharashtra, India. This full-time role includes overseeing recruitment and onboarding, managing employee lifecycle processes, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. The HR Manager will design and implement HR policies, support performance management, coordinate training and development initiatives, and promote an inclusive, safe, and compliant workplace. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve handling employee relations and conflict resolution, advising leadership on workforce planning and organizational development, ensuring adherence to local labor laws and company standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and onboarding, with experience managing end-to-end hiring processes.
- Prior experience of 2+ years is preferred.
- Proficiency in HR operations, including HR administration, payroll coordination, benefits management, and HRIS usage.
- Experience in performance management, including goal setting, appraisal processes, and employee development planning.
- Demonstrated skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering an inclusive, respectful work environment.
- Solid understanding of labor laws and regulatory compliance, preferably within Tanzania or similar jurisdictions.
- Ability to design and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with organizational objectives.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is beneficial, along with familiarity with safety and workforce management practices.
- Proven ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
