About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead the resort's end-to-end HR function. Based in Manali you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, building high-performing teams, and creating an engaging workplace culture that reflects the values of Ajna Resorts, Manali.
You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, HR policies, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, learning and development, and employee relations while partnering closely with leadership to support the resort's growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for all departments.
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and best practices.
- Drive employee engagement, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and workplace culture.
- Coordinate payroll, compensation, benefits, and HR documentation.
- Maintain HR records and HRIS with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Partner with department heads to support workforce planning and organisational development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR professional.
- Prior experience in the hospitality, hotel, or service industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, labour laws, performance management, and HR operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll coordination, and HR compliance.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and collaborate with teams across locations.
