Salary: ₹40,000 in-hand (based on candidate profile)

As we continue to scale our operations, we are looking for a Human Resources Manager who can build strong HR systems, drive employee engagement, and ensure smooth people operations across the organisation. The primary focus of this role will be driving talent acquisition and building strong recruitment systems to support AgeWell’s rapid expansion across departments and business verticals.
What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition & Hiring
- Take ownership of recruitment and talent acquisition as a core business function, ensuring timely hiring of high-quality candidates across all departments.
- Drive end-to-end recruitment across departments including marketing, operations, sales, and corporate roles.
- Develop hiring strategies to attract top talent aligned with company growth.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate evaluation, and onboarding processes.
- Build strong talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage employee documentation, HR records, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, HR regulations, and company standards.
- Oversee attendance systems, leave management, and HR documentation.
- Maintain HRIS and employee data accurately.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Promote a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Organise employee engagement initiatives and internal activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and HR queries.
- Drive initiatives that improve employee satisfaction and retention.
Performance Management
- Implement and manage employee performance review systems.
- Work with department heads to define KPIs and evaluation frameworks.
- Support managers in performance improvement plans and feedback processes.
- Policy Implementation & Discipline
- Ensure adherence to company policies including attendance, reporting, and workplace conduct.
- Address disciplinary matters and resolve workplace conflicts professionally.
- Support leadership in maintaining organisational discipline and accountability.
- HR Strategy & Organisational Development
- Support leadership in building scalable HR processes as the company grows.
- Help develop organisational structure and workforce planning.
- Drive HR initiatives aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
Who Are You?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus.
- 3–6 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, and people management.
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and scaling teams in a fast-paced organisation.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, HR compliance, and employee management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HR tools, and HR documentation systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in startup or high-growth companies.
- Hands-on experience in building HR processes from scratch.
- Strong leadership and people management ability.
