Role Description The Human Resources Manager at Afrinext Overseas Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site role based in Angola, Africa.
The role involves overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. The Human Resources Manager will design and implement HR policies, drive employee engagement initiatives, and support learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals. This role also includes maintaining accurate HR records, and preparing HR reports and analytics to support leadership decisions. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate closely with department heads to ensure a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
- Experience with HR compliance, labor laws, workplace health and safety standards, and maintaining accurate HR documentation and records.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HR management systems, MS Office tools, and basic HR data reporting and analytics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple HR activities, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in designing and executing employee engagement, training, and development initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or HR certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a Human Resources Manager or senior HR generalist role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
