Payroll Processing & Vendor Management
- Execute end-to-end payroll inputs and validation, coordinating heavily with external payroll vendors or processing systems.
- Review and audit timekeeping sheets, variable compensation elements, retro-payments, and voluntary/involuntary deductions.
- Lead monthly payroll reconciliations and variance analysis to rectify discrepancies prior to final payment approvals.
- Manage external payroll vendors against established SLAs, holding partners accountable for delivery timelines and precision
Compliance, Risk & Audit
- Ensure strict adherence to local labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g., PF, PT, ESI, TDS, Gratuity, or equivalent regional tax rules).
- Serve as the primary operational contact for internal, external, and statutory payroll audits, preparing all tracking documentation.
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold data privacy, internal controls, and corporate compliance
HR Operations & Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, contract modifications, internal mobility, and offboarding.
- Maintain flawless HR Master Data across internal systems and databases to ensure a single source of truth.
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees regarding internal HR policy interpretation and service requests.
- Administer company benefits and insurance programs, tracking enrollments, adjustments, and termination data
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 6–12+ years of combined experience handling HR Operations and complex payroll configurations.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with HRIS and Payroll software (e.g., PeopleStrong) and advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, complex reconciliations).
- Core Competencies: Extreme attention to detail, strict adherence to data confidentiality, strong numerical capabilities, and clear communication skills
