Position Overview: As an HR Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the talent acquisition process by conducting initial screening of candidates, establishing initial contact with potential candidates, and assisting in various HR operations. This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in recruitment and HR processes, allowing you to develop essential skills for a successful career in human resources.
Responsibilities
HR Operations:
- Assisting in onboarding activities, including preparing new hire documents and conducting orientation sessions.
- Assisting in maintaining HR databases and records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Supporting the HR team with various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, organizing HR-related documentation, and managing HR-related communication.
Talent Acquisition Support:
- Collaborating with the HR team to post job openings on relevant job boards and social media platforms.
- Assisting in organizing recruitment events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives.
- Identifying potential sourcing channels to attract qualified candidates.
- Reaching out to potential candidates via email or phone to schedule interviews and provide essential information about the interview process.
Candidate Evaluation:
- Assisting in assessing candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit through various evaluation methods.
- Coordinating interviews with hiring managers and team members, ensuring a seamless interview process.
- Reviewing resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and experience.
- Conducting initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' suitability for further consideration.
Requirements:
- Having a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in a career in Human Resources and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences.
