Role Description The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team in day-to-day operations for a full-time remote role. Responsibilities include assisting with recruitment activities such as posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews. The intern will help maintain employee records, support onboarding processes, and assist in the communication of HR policies and procedures. Additional tasks may include coordinating employee engagement activities, helping with benefits-related inquiries, and preparing basic HR reports and documentation. The role offers exposure to multiple HR functions in a nonprofit setting and provides opportunities to learn from experienced HR professionals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management.
- Candidates should possess a basic understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits.
- Candidates should possess skills in Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate employee records.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and HR-related software is beneficial.
- Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
