About the Role
NexGen Media is hiring an HR Intern who is smart, proactive, and highly observant. This role is for someone who enjoys interacting with people, understands communication psychology, and can identify whether a candidate is genuinely a good fit or just good at talking.
You will work directly with leadership and help in hiring, coordination, and internal HR execution. This is not a typical HR internship where you just screen resumes — you will be involved in real decision-making and hiring conversations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, and referrals
- Conduct initial screening calls and coordinate interview scheduling
- Observe candidate behavior and communicate hiring insights to the team
- Support in drafting job descriptions and hiring posts
- Maintain candidate databases and hiring pipeline tracking
- Ensure smooth coordination between candidates and internal teams
- Follow up with candidates and improve offer conversion rate
- Support onboarding process and documentation
- Help improve internal HR processes and workflow efficiency
- Assist in employer branding and basic hiring communication content

Bonus (Preferred)
- Prior internship experience in HR / recruitment
- Familiarity with LinkedIn hiring and outreach
- Basic understanding of social media, branding, and startup culture
- Ability to draft strong hiring messages and candidate outreach texts
