The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our growing, fast-paced team. This full-time, remote role is designed to offer immersive, hands-on experience in core HR operations.
Compensation Note: Please note that this is an unpaid internship. We view this role as a foundational learning opportunity. Your primary reward will be the invaluable, real-world experience you gain by working directly alongside our leadership team. You will receive mentorship, exposure to cross-functional agency dynamics, and a robust portfolio of practical HR experience to help launch your career.
Primary Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Take ownership of our recruitment pipeline as your primary responsibility, driving the end-to-end hiring process for new employees and interns across various departments.
- Candidate Management: Screen incoming applications, coordinate and schedule interviews, and maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records.
- Onboarding & Documentation: Assist with seamless onboarding activities and the preparation of essential HR documentation for new hires.
- Data Administration: Maintain and update employee data and records within our internal HR systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Employee Engagement: Support the communication of HR policies and assist in the rollout of employee engagement initiatives.
- HR Operations: Track employee benefits, personnel changes, and assist the broader team with day-to-day HR operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- HR Acumen: Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with a strong interest in building a long-term career in the field. Understanding of basic HR policies and employee benefits concepts.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
- Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, paired with a collaborative and approachable working style.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfort with using productivity and HR-related software tools; high proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated maturity, strict discretion when handling sensitive or confidential personnel information, and a proactive willingness to learn in a fast-paced agency setting.
