About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Silvermine Group. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded HR professional with deep expertise in payroll processing, statutory compliances, labor laws, and end-to-end HR operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring our HR processes run smoothly, our employees are supported, and our organization remains fully compliant. This is a highly intense, hands-on operational role requiring extensive on-site presence, emergency grievance handling, and managing critical payroll/legal compliances across locations. The role demands flexibility with working hours to support round-the-clock shift operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Payroll Management: Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of salaries. Handle queries related to salary, deductions, and tax calculations.
- Statutory Compliance: Oversee compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations (e.g., PF, ESIC, PT, LWF,Gratuity, Bonus Act). Ensure timely filing of returns and maintain compliance registers.
- HR Operations: Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, background verification, employee records management, performance appraisal administration, and offboarding/exit formalities.
- Employee Relations: Address employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive and inclusive hybrid workplace culture. Manage on-site employee relations and conflict resolutions.
- Policy Management: Assist in designing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- MBA in HR or equivalent qualification.
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Operations role.
- Minimum of 6 years of Strong, hands-on experience in payroll processing and statutory
compliances.
- Thorough understanding of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRMS tools such as KEKA & greythr is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR reporting/MIS.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
