SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support core HR functions while contributing to recruitment efforts for technical roles. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, and assist in attracting and onboarding high-quality engineering and technology talent across India.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure HR processes across the employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding) comply with Indian labor laws.
- Advise on employment contracts, HR policies, and statutory requirements.
- Support compensation, benefits administration, and payroll compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain compliant documentation, including employee records and onboarding/offboarding requirements.
- Stay updated on labor laws and recommend process or policy improvements.
- Partner with HR and leadership to ensure consistent, compliant HR practices.
Technical Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical positions including software engineering, data, infrastructure, and product-focused roles.
- Work closely with hiring managers to translate technical requirements into clear hiring strategies and sourcing plans.
- Identify and engage high-quality candidates through direct sourcing, professional networks, talent communities, and referrals.
- Manage the full interview lifecycle—from initial outreach through offer negotiation and acceptance.
Stakeholder & Candidate Management
- Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers by providing market insights, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategy recommendations.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with HR, People Operations, and leadership to support scalable hiring processes.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the ATS.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of HR or Recruitment experience, with exposure to technical hiring.
- Solid understanding of Indian labor laws, HR compliance, and employment regulations.
- Proven ability to source and hire for engineering and technical roles.
- Experience working with ATS platforms and sourcing tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
