Role: Manager/Senior Manager - Generalist Role - People and Culture

Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (TA)
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring timelines.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners where required.
• Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment process improvements.
Human Capital Operations & Compliance
• Support day-to-day HR operations ensuring smooth execution of HC processes.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for HR operational needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records.
Onboarding & pre-joining
• Manage end-to-end onboarding including documentation, background verification, and induction.
• Coordinate with TA, hiring managers, IT, and Admin teams for seamless employee joining.
• Ensure a positive onboarding experience and timely completion of joining formalities.
Employee Engagement & Retention
• Support employee engagement initiatives and programs.
• Analyse attrition trends, employee feedback, and engagement survey data.
• Assist in implementing retention and motivation strategies.
• Act as first point of contact for employee queries and concerns, escalating when required.
• Promote adherence to organizational policies and code of conduct.
• Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievance handling when required.
• Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent application of HR policies.
Employee Separations
• Manage employee exit processes including resignation acceptance, exit interviews, and documentation.
• Coordinate final settlement processes in line with company policy.
• Analyse exit data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Managing Records and Trackers
• Maintain employee records, HR databases, trackers, and MIS reports accurately.
• Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and timely updates across HR systems.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for management review and decision-making.
Special Projects
• Support HR projects such as policy rollouts, HR digitization, audits, and process enhancements.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives aligned with business and people goals.
• Assist in rollout and monitoring of new HC initiatives and frameworks.
Learning & Development (L&D)
• Identify training needs through performance data, feedback, and stakeholder discussions.
• Coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, and learning interventions.
• Manage training calendars, nominations, attendance, and effectiveness tracking.
• Support LMS administration, assessments, and learning documentation.
• Assist in development of career progression and capability-building frameworks.
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA / MS in HRM) is an advantage.
Working knowledge, experience and application
• 8–15 years of experience in HR Generalist roles covering Human Resource operations, TA, and L&D for mid-size (200) organization.
• Hands-on experience in HR operations with overlooking with L&D and TA
• Exposure to SLAs, KPIs, performance management, and stakeholder management.
• Experience working with APAC, UK, or international stakeholders is preferred.
