Job Summary
The HR Generalist will serve as a key member of the Business Unit HR team, providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle while partnering with managers and employees to drive business and people objectives. The role is responsible for executing core HR processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements, fostering employee engagement, and supporting organizational effectiveness initiatives. As an individual contributor, the incumbent will work closely with the BU HR Lead and business stakeholders to deliver a high-quality HR service that supports business growth and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Support
- Partner with line managers and employees to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance on people-related matters.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and workforce requirements.
- Assist managers in addressing employee concerns, performance issues, and organizational challenges.
Learning & Development
- Partner with functional managers to identify capability gaps and training needs aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate the annual learning and development plan and ensure effective deployment of technical, behavioural, leadership, and compliance training programs.
- Facilitate employee development initiatives, including Individual Development Plans (IDPs), succession development actions, and competency enhancement programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness, completion rates, and learning outcomes, and provide periodic reports and insights to management.
HR Operations
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data.
- Timely resolution of employee queries.
Talent Acquisition Support
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding processes.
- Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support timely closure of open positions.
- Facilitate induction and integration of new employees.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or multinational organizations.
- Strong exposure to Employee Relations,HR operations, Recruitment and Training.
- Sound knowledge of HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
