As a fast-growing startup, we are looking for someone who can build, manage, and scale our people operations from the ground up.
This is not a conventional HR role — we are looking for someone who can take ownership, build systems, manage people, and grow with the company.
Role Overview
- We are looking for a proactive, people-first, and highly organized HR professional who can manage end-to-end HR operations and help build a strong performance-driven culture at Flashoot.
- The ideal candidate should be flexible, hands-on, and comfortable working in a startup environment where speed, ownership, and problem-solving matter.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Hiring
- Handle end-to-end recruitment process
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, consultants, referrals, and social hiring
- Screen profiles and schedule interviews
- Coordinate with hiring managers and founders
- Manage offer rollouts and onboarding process
- Build talent pipelines for critical roles
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Employee onboarding and induction
- Documentation and compliance
- Employee records management
- Exit process and full & final settlements
- Probation reviews and confirmations
Payroll & Attendance Management
- Manage monthly attendance and leave records
- Coordinate payroll processing
- Incentive and variable payout coordination
- Maintain salary records and payroll documentation
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries
HR Policies & Process Building
- Create and implement HR policies
- Build SOPs, employee handbooks, and process documents
- Design performance review systems
- Create KPI, KRA, and appraisal frameworks
- Ensure policy adherence across teams
Performance & People Management
- Conduct regular employee check-ins
- Support managers in performance reviews
- Handle employee concerns and conflict resolution
- Improve employee engagement and retention
- Build accountability and ownership culture
HR Operations
- Leave management
- Attendance audits
- Employee database management
- Vendor coordination (if required)
- Support compliance and statutory requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage people firmly yet empathetically
- High ownership and execution mindset
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building systems from scratch
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work directly with founders and leadership team
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of HR experience
- Experience in startups, operations-driven companies, agencies, or service businesses preferred
- Experience in hiring sales, operations, and field teams is a plus
