Role Overview
The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function, driving people strategy, talent management, organizational development, and HR operations across the organization. The role will ensure workforce capability aligns with business growth objectives while fostering a high-performance, creative, and compliant workplace culture.
This position requires a strategic HR professional who understands the dynamics of the events and MICE industry—including project-based staffing, seasonal workforce planning, vendor workforce coordination, and multi-location team management.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Organisational Development
- Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with company growth and expansion plans
- Design organisational structures to support scale-up and international operations
- Lead workforce planning for events, production, creative and support functions
- Develop succession planning and leadership pipeline frameworks
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for corporate, creative, production and event roles
- Build talent pipelines for MICE, experiential marketing and event production professionals
- Develop hiring strategies for project-based and contractual workforce requirements
- Partner with leadership to forecast manpower requirements for domestic and international events
3. Performance Management & Capability Development
- Implement KPI frameworks and performance review systems
- Design appraisal cycles, performance improvement plans and incentive structures
- Develop training programs focused on sales capability, client servicing excellence and production efficiency
- Identify skill gaps and implement leadership development initiatives
4. Employee Relations & Culture Building
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and creative workplace culture
- Handle employee grievance management and disciplinary processes
- Strengthen engagement initiatives, internal communication and retention strategies
- Promote diversity, inclusion and ethical workplace standards
5. HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee payroll, attendance, leave management and statutory compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations and contractor governance
- Manage HR documentation, contracts, policies and employee handbooks
- Maintain HRMIS systems and reporting dashboards
6. Compensation & Benefits Management
- Design competitive compensation structures aligned with industry benchmarks
- Develop incentive plans for sales, business development and project teams
- Monitor compensation budgets and ensure cost optimization.
- Support leadership with salary benchmarking and market insights
7. Leadership & Business Partnering
- Act as HR Business Partner to senior leadership
- Support strategic decision-making related to workforce expansion
- Align HR initiatives with revenue, operational and growth objectives
- Build a scalable HR framework for domestic and international operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related discipline
- 6–10+ years of HR experience, preferably in Events, Experiential Marketing, MICE, media, or agency environments
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR compliance
- Experience managing multi-functional and project-based teams
- Exposure to fast-growing or scale-up organisations preferred
