We are looking for an HR Generalist who can independently manage and strengthen our HR function in a fast-paced startup environment. The role involves HR operations, people processes, policy development, HR systems, reporting, and working closely with the Founder on people-related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle — onboarding, probation, confirmation, performance management, and exits.
- Manage and optimize Zoho People/Zoho HR, including setup, integrations, workflows, employee records, attendance, leave, and HR processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, processes, and documentation as the organization grows.
- Prepare and maintain HR MIS, reports, dashboards, and people analytics for management and Founder-level reviews.
- Work directly with the Founder on workforce planning, HR strategy, employee matters, and organizational initiatives.
- Plan and execute employee engagement, performance, appraisal, and retention initiatives.
- Support recruitment and hiring as required, including coordination with hiring managers and ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Coordinate with payroll/accounts for salary, attendance, leave, incentives, and Full & Final settlements.
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and proactively plan and implement improvements.
- Ensure HR documentation, processes, and employee records are accurate, organized, and confidential.
What We’re Looking For
- MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Zoho People/Zoho HR, including integrations and implementation.
- Experience in creating HR policies, SOPs, processes, and MIS/reporting.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and build processes from scratch.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with direct exposure to the Founder/leadership team.
