Job Description – HR Executive
Location: Mumbai (Chembur)- Work from office

About B.D. Industries BD Industries BDI Group (of companies) is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified organization manufacturing plastic products in Mumbai since over 35 years. We manufacture over 500 products and cater to 8 different industries including custom rotational moulding. We are vendors to leading automotive companies for fuels tanks, in-cab parts, fenders, roof tops, ad blue tanks etc. BDI also manufactures various kinds of road barriers and other allied products for the safety industry. For material handling products we manufacture the entire range of plastic pallets (with foam/ without foam/with steel reinforcement). Dustbins, Twin bins, Garbage Chutes, Hospital furniture are some of the other products BDI does. Our speciality lies in custom moulding and developing newer concepts and products right from the “sketch off a napkin”. With 5 plants in western, northern and southern India, BDI is well poised to serve customers PAN India.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant and corporate positions.
Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and consultants.
Screen profiles, coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and ensure timely closures.
Maintain recruitment MIS and hiring trackers.
HR Operations
Handle employee onboarding, induction, and documentation.
Maintain employee records, personal files, and HRMS data. Process employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
Coordinate attendance and payroll inputs.
Employee Engagement & Relations
Support employee engagement activities, events, and welfare initiatives.
Assist in employee grievance handling and communication.
Promote a positive work culture and employee experience.
Statutory Compliance
Coordinate PF, ESIC, Labour Welfare Fund, and other statutory compliances.
Maintain statutory records and documentation.
Support internal and external compliance audits.
Ensure adherence to labour laws applicable to manufacturing establishments.
HR Reporting
Prepare and maintain HR MIS reports, manpower reports, and recruitment dashboards.
Support management with HR data and analytics.
Desired Candidate Profile
MBA/PGDM/ in Human Resources or equivalent.
2–5 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing organization.
Experience in recruitment for production, quality, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, and support functions.
Good understanding of labour laws, statutory compliances, and HR operations.
Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and HR reporting.
