Role Overview
We are looking for a result-driven, high-ownership Talent Acquisition professional with deep experience in manufacturing hiring and greenfield plant setup projects. The role involves end-to-end recruitment, from workforce planning to onboarding, for large-scale plant operations including engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and support functions.
The ideal candidate must be capable of managing high-volume and niche hiring, building talent pipelines, and partnering with leadership to meet aggressive project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for blue-collar, grey-collar, and white-collar roles
- Source and hire talent across all functions
- Ensure quick turnaround time (TAT) for bulk and critical hiring
2. Greenfield Project Hiring
- Lead hiring for new plant setup / expansion projects
- Work closely with project teams for manpower planning and phasing
- Build workforce from scratch – including:
- Leadership hires, Technical specialist , Shopfloor workforce
- Mobilize talent in alignment with project timelines
3. Sourcing Strategy & Talent Mapping
- Design and execute sourcing strategies:
- Campus hiring (ITI, Diploma, Engineering colleges)
- Local talent mapping for plant locations
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and talent mapping for critical roles
4. Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Plant Leadership, Project Teams, for hiring plans
- Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and hiring trends
- Drive hiring governance and reporting dashboards
5. Bulk & Campus Hiring
- Plan and execute mass hiring drives
- Manage relationships with:
- ITIs / Polytechnics / Engineering Institutes
- 6. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Build strong employer brand in local and industry markets
- Ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires
- Drive diversity hiring initiatives where applicable
7. Data Reporting & Analytics
- Track key metrics:
- Time to hire
- Cost per hire
- Offer-to-join ratio
- Maintain recruitment MIS and dashboards
Key Requirements
Education
- MBA / PGDM in HR or related field (mandatory)
- Engineering background is an added advantage
Experience
- 3-7+ years in Talent Acquisition
- Mandatory experience in: Manufacturing / Industrial hiring
- Greenfield or brownfield expansion projects (added advantage)
- Bulk / mass hiring
