We are looking for an on-the-ground HR Executive who understands the pulse of a manufacturing environment and can bridge the gap between operational needs and employee welfare.
Role Summary
As the Factory HR Executive, you will be the backbone of our site’s workforce management. You will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, ensuring 100% statutory compliance, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and managing the day-to-day employee lifecycle for both plant and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Statutory Compliance & Administration
- Ensure strict adherence to the Factories Act and other local labor laws.
- Maintain accurate records for employment contracts, personal files, and statutory filings (PF, ESI, etc.).
- Manage daily attendance, shift scheduling, and overtime tracking to ensure smooth production flow.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Drive recruitment efforts for plant operations, including floor operators, helpers, and technical staff.
- Conduct onboarding programs focusing on company culture, safety protocols, and IML production standards.
- Manage exit formalities and clearance processes efficiently.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring fair and prompt resolution.
- Foster a safe, transparent, and high-performance culture on the shop floor.
- Organize welfare activities, safety training sessions, and health check-ups to boost morale and retention.
4. Payroll & Performance
- Process monthly payroll for factory and support staff.
- Coordinate with department heads to track performance metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure time-office data matches production logs to prevent billing or payment discrepancies.
Requirements: Skills & Qualifications
Requirement CategoryDetailsEducation:- MBA in HR / MSW (Master of Social Work) or equivalent degree.
Experience:- 2–5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting.
Industry Knowledge:-Sound understanding of the Factories Act and Industrial Relations.
Soft Skills:-Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:-Proficiency in MS Excel (specifically for payroll/attendance) and HRIS software.
Language:-Fluency in Hindi, Gujarati and English is mandatory.
