Nomad Pizza is a gourmet cloud kitchen brand redefining pizza delivery with high-quality, chef-crafted recipes. As we scale our kitchen network and team, we're looking for an HR Executive who can build strong people processes and foster a culture of ownership and performance across a fast-paced, multi-location operation.
Role Overview
The HR Executive will own end-to-end HR operations for Nomad Pizza, from payroll and compliance to hiring, onboarding, and employee engagement. This role requires someone who can operate hands-on across kitchen and corporate teams, bring structure to HR processes, and act as a trusted point of contact for employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance
• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including attendance, leaves, incentives, and deductions.
• Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, gratuity, minimum wages, and other applicable labour laws.
• Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in line with audit requirements.
• Liaise with vendors/consultants for compliance filings, licenses, and government inspections.
Hiring & Onboarding
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for kitchen staff, delivery, and corporate roles — sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers.
• Partner with location/kitchen managers to forecast manpower needs and reduce time-to-hire.
• Design and run structured onboarding and induction programs for new joiners across all locations.
• Maintain a healthy hiring pipeline and manage relationships with recruitment vendors/consultants.
Process & Systems
• Build and standardize HR SOPs across kitchens — attendance, leave, grievance handling, exit, and disciplinary processes.
• Drive adoption of HRMS/HR tools for attendance, payroll, and employee data management.
• Continuously identify gaps in HR processes and implement scalable, kitchen-friendly solutions.
Team Motivation & Engagement
• Design and execute engagement initiatives, rewards & recognition programs, and team-building activities.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and ensure timely, fair resolution.
• Conduct regular check-ins with kitchen and corporate teams to gauge morale and address concerns proactively.
• Support performance management cycles, including OKR-setting, appraisals, and feedback processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's/master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in F&B, QSR, cloud kitchen, or retail operations.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll processing and Indian labour law compliance.
• Proven experience in high-volume hiring for operational/frontline roles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and HRMS/payroll software.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
