Key roles and responsibilities
HR
· Recruitment and staffing
Ø Understanding manpower requirements for stores, warehouse, and corporate office.
Ø Posting job openings on portals and social media.
Ø Screening resumes and conducting interviews.
Ø Coordinating with store managers for final selection.
Ø Issuing offer letters and managing joining formalities
· Onboarding and induction
Ø Conducting induction programs for new hires.
Ø Explaining company policies, POS systems etc.
Ø Completing documentation (KYC, bank details, PF, ESIC, etc.)
Ø Ensuring smooth integration into store teams
· Payroll and attendance management
Ø Maintaining attendance records (biometric/manual)
Ø Managing shift rosters and weekly offs
Ø Coordinating with payroll team/vendor
Ø Calculating incentives for sales staff
Ø Handling leave records and overtime
· Stutotory compliance
Ø Ensuring compliance with:
§ EPF
§ ESIC
§ Shop and estabishments Act
§ Minimum wages Act
§ Bonus and gratuity rules
Ø Maintaining employee files and statutory registers
Ø Supporting audits and inspections
· Employee Relations
Ø Handling Employee greivances
Ø Conducting engagement activities
Ø Exit interviews and attrition analysis
· Performance Management
Ø Coordinating performance appraisals
Ø Tracking sales targets vs achievement
Ø Assisting in increment and promotion processes
Ø Maintaining KRAs for store managers and sales staff
· Training & Development
Ø Coordinating product training (seasonal collections, fabric knowledge)
Ø Sales training (upselling, customer handling)
Ø Grooming & customer service training
Ø Identifying skill gaps
· HR MIS Reporting
Ø Maintaining employee database
Ø Monthly attrition report
Ø Hiring report
Ø Payroll summary
Ø Headcount report by store
· Policy implementation
Ø Drafting and implementing HR policies
Ø Updating employee handbook
Ø Ensuring policy communication across stores
ADMIN
Ø Manage daily office operations and ensure smooth functioning.
Ø Oversee housekeeping, security, pantry, and maintenance staff.
Ø Handle office supplies procurement and inventory control.
Ø Coordinate repairs, AMC contracts, and vendor services.
Ø Ensure workplace cleanliness and professional environment.
Ø Maintain company records, licenses, agreements, and contracts
Ø Ensure compliance with local labor laws and safety norms.
Ø Handle insurance documentation and renewals.
Ø Prepare administrative expense reports.
