POSITION DETAILS

ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE
The incumbent is responsible for Employee Life Cycle management, Employee Engagement and Connect, executing various HR projects, Managing Attendance, leaves, payroll related questions. As well as he / she will ensure all type of statutory compliances related with pay roll, factory / Shop and establishment act as well as other labour laws. The incumbent will also manage the PMS and project related with Talent Management. Also responsible for employee data base management through HRIS software.
This role will perform as an HRBP for Taloja site. Require strong and good understanding of relevant software (HRIS, SAP, Excel, Canva, AI tools etc), and sound knowledge of Indian labour laws.
Role - Activities, Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Business Partnering:
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR queries.
- Support business leaders in performance management, including appraisals and PIPs.
- Resolve employee grievances and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Support line managers with performance appraisal cycles, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and the promotion process.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, including POSH, and support the implementation of company policies.
- Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Talent Management & Onboarding: Collaborate with recruitment teams for talent acquisition and manage the end-to-end onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
- HR Operations & HRIS: Maintain employee records, handle HRIS data accuracy, and assist with payroll queries and reports.
- MIS: Prepare and present various MIS reports.
- Statutory Compliance: Responsible for internal and external audits related with payroll and statutory compliances. Ensure all legal requirements are met, including those under the Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, Employees' State Insurance Act, and the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act., Shop and establishment act etc.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications
- Graduation in any discipline
- MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources or a related field such Master in Social Work,
- Diploma in Labour Law / LLB (optional)
Experience
- 8 to 12 years as an HRBP (Generalist) from Manufacturing plant or R&D set up.
