Job Description – HR Executive
Organization: Dalhousie Public School
Location: New Chandigarh Campus
Role Overview
Dalhousie Public School is seeking an HR Executive with strong HR ethics and process oriented working skills to manage day-to-day human resource operations and support the school’s growing academic and administrative workforce. The role requires a professional who can effectively handle recruitment, employee coordination, HR documentation, and staff engagement while maintaining confidentiality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
· Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, and HR documentation.
· Coordinate joining formalities, induction programs, and employee orientation.
· Assist in payroll coordination and staff benefits administration.
· Handle employee queries related to HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
· Support performance appraisal processes and employee engagement activities.
· Ensure compliance with school policies, labour laws, and HR best practices.
· Draft official HR communication, appointment letters, contracts, and notices.
· Coordinate staffing requirements with academic and administrative departments.
· Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and positive employee relations.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum 3-5 years of relevant HR experience preferred.
· Candidates with a convent school educational background will be preferred.
· Strong understanding of recruitment and HR operations.
· Proficiency in MS Office.
