Job Description

Talent Acquisition & On‑Ground Hiring Execution

  • Partner with business leaders to forecast future hiring needs and optimize workforce structure.
  • Execute end‑to‑end recruitment processes with HR Shared Services and independently (as per need)
  • Manage operational hiring for blue-collar, contractual manpower, apprentices, and trainees.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, salary fitments, and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain hiring trackers, dashboards, and weekly status reports.

Contract Labour & Workforce Administration

  • Maintain day‑to‑day oversight of contract labour attendance, rosters, overtime, and manpower availability.
  • Verify contractor bills, wage sheets, PF/ESIC submissions, and ensure statutory compliance.
  • Conduct routine vendor audits and maintain documentation for inspections.
  • Ensure smooth handling of contract workforce grievances and workplace discipline.

Employee Engagement & Grievance Handling

  • Execute engagement events, calendar activities, welfare programs, and communication drives.
  • Handle grievances, conflicts, and employee relations cases at floor level.
  • Conduct pulse checks, employee / trainees connect sessions, and exit interviews.
  • Support managers with daily HR queries and people process adherence.

Apprentice & Trainee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage sourcing, onboarding, training, rotations, evaluations, and stipend administration.
  • Maintain trainee databases, compliance documentation, assessments, and exit formalities.

HR Reporting, Compliance

  • Prepare periodic HR MIS—headcount, attrition, absenteeism, training, and manpower reports.
  • Maintain statutory calendar.
  • Maintain accuracy of HR data in systems and Excel templates.
  • Support audits, HR policy implementation, and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Assess HR compliance risks and recommend improvements in contract labour governance, labour law adherence, and workplace ethics.
  • Provide inputs into policy updates, process enhancements, and audit preparedness.

Miscellaneous:

  • Recommend improvements to workplace culture, policies, and people processes.
  • Support initiatives that elevate employee experience and promote inclusion.

Qualifications

Qualification - PG in Human Resources (MBA / MSW / MLW)

Experience - 4 - 5 Years (preferably in Manufacturing Industry)

3. Well versed with MS Tools
