Why this role exists
We are building Maharashtra’s rural labour grid. To scale fast, we need someone who can handle the operational “grunt work” across hiring, people ops, and admin so the leadership team can stay focused on building and execution.
This is a junior, high-ownership role for someone extremely organised, responsive, and willing to do whatever it takes to keep the company running smoothly.
What you’ll do
1. Hiring & Talent Support (Primary)
- Post jobs across platforms (WhatsApp groups, LinkedIn, job boards, local networks)
- Screen CVs and maintain candidate trackers
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates + hiring managers
- Run reference checks
- Manage offer letters and documentation
- Track hiring pipeline and weekly updates
- Support field hiring drives (especially in rural Maharashtra)
2. Onboarding & People Ops
- Prepare onboarding kits, contracts, NDAs
- Collect KYC and employee documentation
- Coordinate first-day onboarding
- Maintain employee database and records
- Track attendance, leave, and basic HR admin
- Help organise team trainings and offsites
3. Admin & Office Operations
- Office coordination (supplies, vendors, logistics)
- Travel bookings for team
- Expense tracking and reimbursements
- Document management and filing
- Support founders with day-to-day coordination tasks
- Help set up systems and SOPs as we grow
4. General “Get-it-done” Work
This is a startup role. You may be asked to:
- Call candidates
- Visit field locations
- Help run hiring camps
- Chase documents
- Coordinate with vendors
- Fix last-minute chaos
If you like structured job descriptions with fixed boundaries, this is not the role.
Who this is for
- 0–2 years experience (freshers welcome)
- Extremely organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable speaking in English + Hindi + Marathi (Marathi Native Fluency)
- Fast on WhatsApp, email, and spreadsheets
- Not afraid of repetitive tasks
- Willing to work hard and learn fast
- Comfortable in a startup with ambiguity
Bonus:
- Experience in recruitment or HR
- Experience hiring blue-collar or field teams
- Experience in operations/admin
