Role: Human Resource Executive
Location: Velachery, Chennai
Work Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Working Days: Monday - Saturday
Compensation: Up to ₹5,00,000 per annum
Experience: 2–3 years in HR, preferably in QSR, retail, hospitality, or F&B
ABOUT THE ROLE
If you've spent 2–3 years in HR and you're ready to stop being a back-office function and actually be in the thick of things — this one's for you. At Amadora Gourmet, our HR team isn't just processing paperwork. You'll be the person store managers call, the one who spots a retention problem before it becomes a crisis, and the one who shapes how hundreds of people experience working here. It's fast, it's real, and it matters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own end-to-end recruitment for store-level roles — from crew to store managers — and actually fill positions that matter
- Drive onboarding and induction so new joiners feel set up to succeed from day one
- Keep attendance, leave, and HR records tight across all store locations
- Manage payroll inputs and stay in sync with the accounts team — no surprises at month-end
- Be the go-to person for employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters — handling them with fairness and speed
- Track attrition trends and proactively flag concerns before they become problems
- Partner with store managers on appraisals and performance reviews that actually drive growth
- Stay on top of PF, ESI, and Shops & Establishment compliance — because getting the basics right is non-negotiable
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–3 years of hands-on HR experience in QSR, retail, hospitality, or F&B — you know the pace, and it doesn't faze you
- MBA/PGDM in HR or an equivalent qualification that backs your people instincts with solid fundamentals
- Proven comfort managing HR across multiple locations — you're organized even when things are moving fast
- Strong communicator in English and Tamil; Hindi is a bonus as we grow into other cities.
- Confident with MS Office and basic HRMS tools — data should work for you, not the other way around
- Someone who takes initiative, stays organized, and is equally comfortable at a desk or on the store floor
