Job Description – Human Resources (HR) Manager
Position: HR Manager
Location: Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of Human Resources operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, policy implementation, and overall workforce management. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills to build a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and workforce requirements.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies, HR consultants, and external vendors.
- Conduct onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new employees.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop wellness, retention, and employee satisfaction programs.
- Maintain workplace discipline and ensure adherence to company policies.
HR Operation & Administration:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and HR MIS reports.
- Monitor attendance, biometric records, leave management, and employee documentation.
- Support administration activities and interdepartmental coordination when required.
Payroll & Compensation Management:
- Coordinate payroll processing, reimbursements, and salary administration.
- Manage compensation & benefits, salary revisions, and incentive structures.
- Handle employee confirmations, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and statutory regulations.
- Handle HR audits, compliance documentation, and legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational records.
Performance Management & Employee Development:
- Lead performance appraisal and performance improvement programs (PIP).
- Conduct training needs analysis and employee skill development initiatives.
- Support succession planning and organizational restructuring activities.
- Develop employee growth and career progression strategies.
Exit Management:
- Manage employee exits, full & final settlements, and relieving formalities.
- Ensure smooth offboarding processes and documentation completion.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HR operations and people management
- Experience in recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance preferred
