Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Human Resources (HR) Compliance Manager to join our team on-site in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will oversee and ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and labor laws, develop and implement company-wide HR policies, and ensure adherence to employment laws, including the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and applicable local labor guidelines. You will liaise with internal teams and external regulatory bodies, train employees on compliance and policy matters, and contribute to maintaining a positive and compliant workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) operations, including employee relations, staffing, and development
- Thorough knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and adherence to industry standards
- Proven ability to design, implement, and enforce HR Policies that align with company goals
- In-depth understanding of Labor and Employment Law, including knowledge of the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships across teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance or a similar role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Knowledge of compliance systems and tools is an advantage
