Role Overview
The HR Business Partner will work closely with founders, business leaders, and store teams to drive performance, culture, and capability at scale. This role goes beyond policy - you’ll be a people strategist, execution partner, and culture custodian for a growing retail organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering
● Act as a strategic HR partner to business and retail leadership.
● Translate business goals into people plans across stores and corporate teams.
● Coach leaders on performance, feedback, and difficult people decisions.
2. Retail HR & Frontline Excellence
● Own end-to-end HR for store teams (hiring support, onboarding, engagement, exits).
● Drive store-level discipline around attendance, performance, and productivity.
● Build strong HR processes suited for frontline and high-volume environments.
3. Performance & Talent Management
● Lead performance cycles, goal setting, and regular feedback mechanisms.
● Identify high-potential talent and build succession plans for key roles.
● Partner with TA on workforce planning and hiring quality.
4. Culture, Engagement & Retention
● Drive culture initiatives aligned with Uni Seoul’s brand values.
● Diagnose attrition issues and design practical retention strategies.
● Act as a trusted point of contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
● Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR hygiene.
● Manage HR data, MIS, and people metrics for leadership reviews.
● Continuously improve HR policies to match a fast-growing startup environment.
What We’re Looking For
● 5–8 years of HRBP experience, preferably in retail, QSR, D2C, or consumer brands.
● Strong understanding of frontline HR and high-volume people operations.
● Proven experience partnering with business leaders and founders.
● Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
● High emotional intelligence with the ability to push back when needed.
● Data-driven, but deeply people-centric.
