Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: South Region – Chennai, Bangalore & Hyderabad

Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and data-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive people strategy across our South India operations. This role will closely partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, improve workforce productivity, and build a high-performance culture.
The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with deep HR expertise, enabling proactive problem-solving across performance, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering & Workforce Strategy
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership across Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad
- Understand business goals, team structures, and workforce requirements
- Align HR strategy with revenue, growth, and operational objectives
- Drive manpower planning and organizational effectiveness
2. Workforce Analytics & Insights
- Track and analyze key HR metrics:
- Headcount and workforce distribution
- Attrition trends and root causes
- Productivity and performance metrics
- Target achievement vs. business expectations
- Identify performance gaps and recommend actionable solutions
- Present monthly/quarterly HR dashboards to leadership
3. Performance Management & Target Alignment
- Partner with business leaders to align KPIs and performance goals
- Diagnose reasons for underperformance and design corrective action plans
- Drive performance review processes and goal cascading
- Support and monitor Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Conduct regular employee engagement initiatives (surveys, skip-level meetings, FGDs)
- Assess employee sentiment, morale, and organizational health
- Identify early warning signs of disengagement or burnout
- Implement initiatives to strengthen culture and employee experience
5. Attrition Management & Retention Strategy
- Conduct structured exit interviews and analyze attrition data
- Identify trends in voluntary and involuntary attrition
- Design and implement retention strategies
- Partner with Talent Acquisition for proactive hiring and workforce planning
6. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
- Manage employee grievances with confidentiality and fairness
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions
- Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws
- Build a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability
7. Policy Design & Process Excellence
- Design and implement HR policies aligned with business needs
- Develop and standardize SOPs across:
- Sales
- Operations
- Support functions
- Employee lifecycle processes
- Continuously improve HR processes based on business evolution
8. Organizational Development & Capability Building
- Identify skill gaps and partner with L&D for training initiatives
- Support succession planning and leadership development
- Drive change management and organizational transformation initiatives
9. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to labor laws
- Maintain HR documentation and audit readiness
- Implement best practices in HR governance and risk management
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources (preferred)
- 5–8+ years of experience in HRBP or strategic HR roles
- Experience managing multi-location operations is preferred
- Strong exposure to performance management, attrition control, and employee relations
- Experience in building HR policies and SOPs from scratch is highly desirable
