Human Resources Business Partner
Our client, a leader in providing comprehensive tax, regulatory, legal and business intelligence solutions, is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to support a growing business function as it continues to expand its presence and workforce in Hyderabad. This role requires an individual who combines strong HR expertise with excellent leadership capabilities, commercial awareness, and operational execution.
You will act as a trusted partner to business leaders, supporting workforce planning, employee relations, people initiatives, reporting, and operational delivery while helping build a high-performing and engaged workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving HR policies, procedures, and processes from ground up and ensuring they are aligned with business needs, and best practice.

Key responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to support strategic workforce planning and organisational growth.
- Lead and execute people operations initiatives while ensuring exceptional day-to-day delivery.
- Develop and maintain workforce reports, dashboards, and management information to support business decision-making.
- Analyse workforce data and provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Manage employee relations matters, including grievance resolution and attendance management.
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire set-up to ensure an outstanding employee experience.
- Support recruitment activities, including coordinating hiring processes and partnering with hiring managers.
- Deliver and coordinate management training programmes to develop leadership capability across the business.
- Design, develop, and implement HR policies, systems, and processes from the ground up, ensuring compliance and best practice.
- Build strong relationships with managers and become a trusted advisor on people-related matters.
- Support leadership teams through organisational change and business growth initiatives.
- Manage internal social events and engagement activities.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve people processes, systems, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a human resources business partner, generalist or labor relations role.
- Previous experience in a People Operations, HR Business Partner, HR Operations, Workforce Planning, or similar strategic HR role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting workforce planning within a growing organisation.
- Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience working independently to design and implement HR systems and processes from the ground up.
- Experience handling employee relations matters, including grievances, attendance management, and employee engagement.
- Experience supporting onboarding, new hire processes, and recruitment activities.
- Proven ability to deliver management or leadership training programmes.
- Excellent organisational skills with a track record of driving initiatives through to successful completion.
- Strong analytical skills with experience producing reports, interpreting data, and presenting insights.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR reporting tools.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to quickly understand business needs and adapt accordingly.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for developing people, improving processes, and contributing to the long-term success of the organisation.
