FyneHand is mandated to hire for the role of HR Business Partner (HRBP) - Plant HR to be based in Pune.
Our client is India’s leading integrated manufacturer of fluid transmission products and automotive components, catering to major OEMs across automotive, industrial, and off-highway sectors. They operate multiple state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with a strong focus on operational excellence, innovation, quality, and people development.
Role Overview
The HRBP will support manufacturing operations at the Chakan, Pune plant. The incumbent will work closely with plant leadership and corporate HR teams to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure harmonious industrial relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with plant leadership teams to align HR strategies with business and operational goals
- Drive manpower planning, workforce budgeting, and organizational development initiatives
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition for plant operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and support functions
- Lead onboarding and employee integration initiatives to enhance retention and productivity
- Drive employee engagement activities and foster a high-performance work culture
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Support and execute performance management, talent review, and succession planning processes
- Coordinate learning & development initiatives, capability-building programs, and leadership development interventions
- Monitor HR metrics including attrition, absenteeism, productivity, and engagement, and provide actionable insights
- Ensure statutory compliance with labor laws, company HR policies, and audit requirements
- Work closely with plant leadership to maintain healthy industrial relations and union management practices
- Support change management and organizational transformation initiatives
- Assist in compensation benchmarking, rewards & recognition programs, and HR analytics
Qualifications & work experience:
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector
- Prior exposure to automotive or industrial manufacturing will be an advantage
Working Days: 6 days a week
Location: Pune
