Job Purpose
The HR Executive will manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, statutory compliance, performance management, employee engagement, culture-building, and learning & development initiatives. The role will support leadership in driving employee productivity, capability building, and a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate, operations, and field roles
- Coordinate manpower planning with department heads
- Conduct interviews and issue offer & appointment letters
- Handle onboarding, induction, joining formalities, and exit processes
- Ensure hiring TAT, quality, and retention benchmarks are met
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain employee master data, attendance, and leave records in HRMS
- Manage confirmations, transfers, exits, and full & final settlements
- Implement and monitor HR policies, SOPs, and disciplinary procedures
- Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations and documentation
Performance Management
- Implement and manage the Performance Management System (PMS)
- Coordinate KPI/KRA goal setting with department heads
- Track performance review cycles (monthly/quarterly/annual)
- Support appraisals, increments, promotions, and role movements
- Identify low performers and manage PIPs (Performance Improvement Plans)
- Generate PMS MIS, dashboards, and performance analytics for management
Learning & Development (L&D)
- Identify training needs through performance reviews and manager inputs
- Coordinate internal and external training programs
- Organize onboarding training, functional skill training, and behavioral programs
- Maintain training calendars and track training effectiveness
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives
Employee Relations, Engagement & Culture
- Act as the first-level HR SPOC for employee queries and grievances
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and celebrations
- Drive cultural activities such as festivals, team outings, recognition programs, and employee communication
- Promote company values, ethics, and a positive workplace culture
Compliance & Reporting
- Coordinate audits and maintain statutory and compliance documentation
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR, compliance, and performance MIS reports
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Guide and support junior HR executives or recruiters
- Work closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Admin teams
- Support HR Manager in HR process improvements, digitization, and automation
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, PMS, and employee engagement
- Hands-on experience with KPI/KRA frameworks and PMS tools
- Exposure to volume hiring (drivers / field staff preferred)
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and reporting dashboards
- Ability to balance operational HR with culture and people development
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Graduate / MBA in HR or related discipline
Experience:
- 3–5 years of HR experience with exposure to performance management and L&D
- Experience in transport, logistics, mobility, or service industry preferred
