Role Description The Human Resources Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This position supports day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documentation, and assisting with recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communication. The role involves supporting benefits administration, onboarding new hires, and helping organize training sessions and employee engagement activities. The Human Resources Assistant will also update and maintain data in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and assist with HR reporting and compliance-related tasks. Collaboration with other departments and clear, professional communication are essential to ensuring smooth HR processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an understanding of core HR processes and policies.
- Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and maintaining accurate employee data.
- Knowledge of Benefits Administration, including assisting with enrollment, tracking, and employee inquiries.
- Ability to support Training activities, such as coordinating sessions, maintaining training records, and communicating with participants.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools, especially spreadsheets and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a structured manner.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
