About The Role
Bikham Healthcare is seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to spearhead the company's human resources initiatives as it scales across international markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving the HR function, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives and cultural values. This role requires a hands-on approach combined with strategic vision, capable of designing and implementing HR systems and policies that support a remote, global workforce.
The successful candidate will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, and organizational culture development. They will work closely with the founders and leadership team to create a high-performance environment that attracts top talent, fosters employee engagement, and sustains a positive workplace culture. Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Human Resources leadership roles, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in US HR/recruitment processes and night shifts within the last two years.
- Proven expertise in managing HR operations in India, with exposure to US hiring practices and global workforce management.
- Experience overseeing recruitment teams and HR systems, with a track record of building scalable HR processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
- An MBA in HR or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of HR policies, compliance requirements, and organizational development strategies.
- Proficiency in designing HR SOPs, policies, and employee handbooks aligned with legal and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with operational HR activities.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Department Management
- Lead and oversee the entire HR function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement HR systems that support company growth and international operations.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on people management and organizational development.
Talent Acquisition Oversight
- Manage the talent acquisition team to ensure efficient and effective hiring processes.
- Participate in recruiting senior and specialized roles, including US-based positions.
- Attract and retain high-quality talent that aligns with the company's culture and expansion plans.
HR Policies, SOPs & Employee Handbook
- Design, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and organizational procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive employee handbooks and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with India labor laws and US employment standards.
Employee Relations & HR Support
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, addressing concerns professionally and empathetically.
- Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and open communication.
- Support employees and management in resolving workplace issues.
Performance Management Coordination
- Collaborate with the Performance Management System department to facilitate regular performance reviews.
- Conduct monthly check-ins and surveys to assess team performance and engagement.
- Analyze feedback to inform HR strategies and improve employee development initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Design and implement initiatives that promote employee motivation, satisfaction, and retention.
- Develop programs that reinforce a positive, growth-oriented organizational culture.
- Encourage initiatives that support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
HR Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and HR best practices in India and the US.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation.
- Support leadership in fostering a transparent and compliant HR environment.
