About The Role
Invest India is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Intern to join its Human Resources team. The intern will support various HR functions, including employee lifecycle management, onboarding, documentation, and process coordination. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to build a career in HR by gaining practical experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The internship involves handling multiple responsibilities such as maintaining employee records, coordinating HR processes, assisting in payroll and compliance activities, and supporting HR documentation efforts. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be pursuing or have recently completed a Graduation or Post-Graduation degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates with prior internship experience in HR operations will have an added advantage. Pursuing or having completed an MBA/PGDM in HR or related disciplines is considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills, proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and possess a strong attention to detail. Organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Support onboarding activities for interns, full-time employees, consultants, and third-party employees, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.
- Maintain accurate onboarding files, employee records, and physical documentation trackers to ensure compliance and easy retrieval.
- Prepare and issue various HR documents such as Offer Letters, Appointment Letters, Contract Renewal Letters, and other related correspondence.
- Coordinate HRMS access creation and deactivation for new joiners and exiting employees to ensure seamless system access management.
- Maintain and update employee master data, collaborating with ERP teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in payroll coordination for third-party employees and processing stipends for interns, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Track and update documentation related to appointment letters, onboarding, attendance, compliance, and employee records through various trackers.
- Support Background Verification (BGV) processes by managing documentation and coordinating with relevant teams.
- Maintain Lawrbit Compliance Tracker, ensuring timely updates and report sharing to support compliance activities.
- Prepare weekly HR reports and coordinate with HR Business Partner teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Draft employee communication letters, including Verification Letters, Address Proof Letters, Bank Verification Letters, Visa/Passport Letters, Experience Letters, and Relieving Letters.
- Send reminders for attendance regularization, no-dues clearance, pending documentation, and compliance activities to ensure timely completion.
- Assist the HR Operations team with daily administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth departmental functioning.
Skills Required

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.

Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed graduation or postgraduate studies in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous internship experience in HR operations will be advantageous.
- Enrolled in or completed an MBA/PGDM in HR or related disciplines is a plus.
- Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
