About The Role
We are seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our dynamic People & Culture team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment focused on AI and e-commerce innovation. As an HR Intern at Whatmore, you will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, from recruitment to employee engagement initiatives. The position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their HR skills, understand startup operations, and contribute to a growing company’s success.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and potential candidates.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in the AI, e-commerce, and startup ecosystem.
- Availability for a full-time internship lasting between 3 to 6 months, with potential for full-time employment upon successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment: Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, review resumes, and coordinate interview schedules to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Onboarding: Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation, organizing orientation sessions, and creating a welcoming environment for new hires.
- Culture and Engagement: Contribute to fostering a positive work culture by participating in employee engagement initiatives, organizing team-building activities, and promoting internal communication.
- HR Operations: Support daily HR administrative tasks, including maintaining digital employee records, updating HR databases, and assisting with HR reporting and documentation.
- Additional Support: Collaborate with various departments to ensure HR policies are effectively implemented and assist in ad-hoc projects as needed.
