Position Title: Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP)
π· Department: Business Operations / Strategy (Direct reporting to CEO)
π· Location: Navi Mumbai (with travel to project sites & client locations)
π· Role Objective: To drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and organisational scalability by aligning manpower strategy with STEM Groupβs business goals across Consultancy & INTEC divisions.
π· Key Goals (12β36 Months):
- Support revenue scale, Ensure zero manpower gap for live projects, Achieve >80% billable utilisation, Build strong second-line leadership
π· Core Responsibilities-
- 1. Business & Revenue Alignment:- Convert business targets into manpower planning, Maintain Revenue vs Manpower Ratio, Align hiring with:-TPI / QAQC / NDT / Expediting/Consulting / ISO / Auditing
- 2. Strategic Hiring & Workforce Planning:- Develop a fast hiring pipeline, ensure a ready bench strength. Hire for: Engineers (QA/QC, NDT, Inspectors), Sales & Tender team, Auditors & Consultants
- 3. Performance Management System (PMS):- Design and implement KRA/KPI-based system, Monthly performance tracking, Link performance β Incentives / Growth
- 4. Productivity & Utilisation:- Monitor:- Billable vs Non-billable, Engineer deployment efficiency, Maintain >75β85% utilization
- 5. Training & Skill Development:- Create Skill Matrix, Plan certifications:-NDT Level II/III, ISO Auditor Certifications, Focus on billable skill upgrades
- 6. Organisation Structuring:- Build scalable org structure, Define, Roles, Reporting lines, Span of control
- 7. Retention & Culture Reduce attrition of key roles:- Build an ownership-driven culture & Implement retention strategy
- 8. Compliance & HR Operations Ensure:- PF, ESIC, Payroll, Contract compliance, Audit readiness
- 9. HR Analytics & MIS:- Create dashboards, Revenue per employee, Utilization %, Hiring vs revenue
π· Mandatory Qualification:
MBA / PGDM in HR / Operations (Tier 1/2 preferred) OR Engineering + MBA (Highly Preferred)
π· Mandatory Certifications
SHRM / HRCI Certification (Preferred)/ ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Internal Auditor/Labour Law / Compliance Certification/Advanced Excel / HR Analytics Certification
π· Experience (Critical):
5β10 years of experience, Must have worked in: Engineering / EPC / Inspection / Consulting / Manpower business, Hands-on experience in: Bulk hiring (technical roles), PMS implementation, HR analytics, Workforce planning
π· Required Skills
- Strong business understanding (Revenue, Billing, Mandays), Advanced Excel / MIS / Dashboarding, Hiring strategy & execution, Leadership & stakeholder management, Data-driven decision making
π·Disqualification Criteria
- Only payroll/admin HR experience
- No exposure to revenue-linked HR
- No technical hiring experience
