We Are Hiring | Human Resource Associate – 2-4 yrs
Environmental Management Centre (EMC) | Mumbai
Environmental Management Centre (EMC) is looking for an experienced and people-oriented professional to join our team as a People & Communications Associate. This role is ideal for candidates with 2–4 years of relevant experience who are passionate about fostering engaged, high-performing teams within a purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
▸ Manage end-to-end recruitment — from job postings and candidate screening to interview coordination and onboarding
Conduct induction programmes and prepare welcome kits for new hires
▸ Review and update HR policies
▸ Organise employee engagement initiatives including team-building activities, workshops, and sustainability challenges
▸ Support internal communications including monthly team briefings and alignment on key organisational goals
▸ Support leadership on strategic initiatives and key projects
▸ Drive internal programmes including cross-learning, internship cohorts, and the Young Professionals Program (YPP)
Who Should Apply:
▸ 2-4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, Internal Communications, or a related function
▸ Degree in Human Resources, Organisational Behaviour, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
▸ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage both people-facing and administrative responsibilities
▸ Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
▸ Prior experience in a consulting, NGO, or sustainability-focused organisation is an added advantage
