Position Title: Practice Manager (Maternal Health - RNs +)

Classification: Exempt 

Type: Full time – Weekdays – Onsite Plano, TX

Reports to: Regional Director of Client Services


Summary: The Maternal Health Practice Manager is responsible for the management of the programs, staff, and services directly related to the clients of an assigned to the Maternal Health Program in order to assist Human Coalition achieve its mission of existing to rescue children and serve families across America.

Human Coalition is an innovative, energetic, compassion-driven non-profit organization with the purpose of ending abortion. 


Duties and Responsibilities

Management 

  • Ensure that operational and medical policies and procedures are carried out by program staff.
  • Review client files and offer suggestions and encouragement to program staff.
  • Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss client and staff needs  
  • Oversee client records and effective follow-up of clients by program staff.
  • Oversee training and operation of the program staff. 
  • Oversee scheduling of all program staff. 
  • Attend weekly staff meetings  
  • Plan regular interaction with the Regional Director to relate client or client service staff and medical staff needs, progress of client programs and services, problems, goal setting and implementation  
  • Interview and make recommendations for hiring of program staff  
  • Provide leadership, direction and supervision to program staff  
  • Conduct yearly written and oral performance evaluations of personnel  

Client Services

  • Oversee the compilation of statistical reports, accurate record keeping, and present reports to the Regional Director weekly  
  • Responsible to change personnel, client flow processes, and training if needed to effectively produce results.
  • Works alongside medical and social service staff to support, educate and empower mothers through their pregnancy to promote healthy birth outcomes for moms and babies.
  • Attend meetings, and training to maintain knowledge of current policy and job-related skills.
  • Evaluate, select and maintain the needed educational materials and referral resources for client use  
  • Provide client counseling and services when staff is not available  
  • Maintain policies and procedures manual for the operation of the Maternal Health Program and ensure compliance of those policies and procedures  
  • Oversee client counseling and all other services and programs provided for clients  
  • Work with nurse manager, and program staff as a team to ensure that clients always receive excellent service 
  • Ensure the medical staff always complies with the doctor’s standing orders, policies and procedures 
  • Ensure Maternal Health Program always complies with relevant federal, state and local laws  
  • Ensure that all programs and services are following all office policies & procedures and are providing excellent standard of care  
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates


Position Requirements:

  • Must hold a current RN nursing license in good standing with the state medical board for the state in which you are applying for or a compact license equivalent. 
  • 2 -4 years of prior OB/Maternal Health experience (Required). 
  • Must have current and up to date CPR certification for healthcare providers. 
  • Understand public health systems, maternal/child health.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with using computers and computer programs
  • English fluency (secondary language a plus)
  • Travel to DFW clinics (Grapevine/Fort Worth) as needed to support patient needs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
