About the Role
We are looking for a Brand Manager to own and elevate brand identity, positioning, and perception across the education technology ecosystem. This is a specialist role for someone who has built a career exclusively in branding — not a generalist marketing profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Own brand strategy, positioning, and messaging architecture across all customer and market touchpoints
- Conduct and lead comprehensive brand audits — assessing brand health, consistency, market perception, and competitive positioning
- Define and maintain brand guidelines (visual identity, tone of voice, messaging) and ensure adoption across teams and agencies
- Track brand equity, awareness, and perception through structured research and feedback loops
- Partner with product, sales, and content teams to ensure consistent brand expression across campaigns, collateral, website, and events
- Manage brand-related vendor and creative agency relationships
- Lead brand refresh/repositioning initiatives as needed
- Monitor competitor branding and category trends in the EdTech/SaaS space
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working exclusively in branding — brand strategy, brand management, and brand audits — for a single company (in-house brand function), not a generalist marketing or agency-hopping profile
- Demonstrated ownership of brand audits and brand guideline development
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, identity systems, and brand equity measurement
- Familiarity with design/creative review processes and working with design agencies
